The Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) held their 2015 National Convention at Coconut Groves' Mayfair Hotel. The Convention with attendees from all of the Nation, had their welcoming Reception at the Mayfair Rooftop Deck, Sponsored by the Florida Council on Wednesday October 14th, 2015. The Convention had activities throughout Sunday October 18th with their Farewell Get-Together.

One of the most important events was the Design Awards Reception on Thursday, October 15th. Every year at the convention, this reception presents awards to the winners of the competition for different categories. A panel of selected jurors is designated every year to judge the entries and they select the winners who receive the awards at the Reception.

The Design Awards were handed to the winners by SARA's Florida Council President Architect Kevin Regalado, The Council's Vice President Architect Octavio Santurio and the Council's Treasurer Landscape Architect Orlando Comas. There were two special Awards, The Synergy Award was awarded to Zyscovich Architects and the International Award recipient was Arquitectonica.
